International oil prices began to pick up as US crude oil inventories saw gradual decline for consecutive eight weeks. However, China's domestic propylene market was still moving steadily on January 9, 2008.
In Shandong market, mainstream price was around 10300-10400 yuan per ton, with strong trade and fair shipments.
In Hebei market, mainstream price was in the range of 9900-10100 yuan per ton.
In Northeast market, mainstream price stood at 9700-10300 yuan per ton. Supply was tight and sales were considerable.
In Northwest market, mainstream price was at 9400-9450 yuan per ton, up 50 yuan, sales were fair.
Domestic market operation is flat due to poor transactions from downstream market.
