Sears & Kmart to offer Cannon brand to its customers

Iconix Brand Group Inc announced that it has entered into a license agreement with Sears Holdings for its Cannon brand. It is expected that home products featuring the Cannon brand will be offered at both Sears and Kmart retail stores.
Neil Cole, CEO, Iconix commented, "When we acquired Cannon our key objective was to solidify a larger distribution for the brand, which we are confident that Sears and Kmart will provide. We are pleased to hear of Sears Holdings' plans to have Sears and Kmart roll out the Cannon brand in their stores."
"Sears and Kmart are committed to providing our customers with quality products and we are thrilled to be able to offer the historic Cannon brand in our stores," said Douglas Wurl, Vice President/GMM Home Fashions, Sears Holdings.
"We conducted extensive consumer research prior to finalizing this partnership and Cannon rated extremely high in brand awareness as well as has a high level of perceived value."
