In the first two months of 2008, Binh Duong Province through textile and garment exports earned US $114.4 million, posted a year–on–year growth of 2.7 percent, to acquire third place in the list of top exporting products.
Enjoying the same trend, footwear exports turnover of the province was $114.6 million, up by 14.9 percent over same period 2007.
Other products that fetched big revenue include handicrafts, up 33.8 percent for $40.1 million, woodwork at 29.3 percent for $197 million.
During the period of January and February, enterprises of the province earned a total of $906.3 million from exports of all products, representing a year–on–year boost of 25 percent.
China, Germany, Netherlands, Japan, Korea, UK and US remained the key export markets of the province.
