Saudi Arabia craves to rule world carpet market

The third edition of DOMOTEX Middle East, will take place at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 25 to 27. It is an exclusive exhibition of carpets, rugs and floor coverings, providing a grand platform to Saudi manufacturers to display their unbeatable designs and quality to global buyers.
With huge number of buyers and producers coming to the DOMOTEX expo every year, it proves to be a successful business arena for carpet manufacturers.
Saudi Arabia exports carpets to more than 70 countries. It is now putting in extra efforts to meet increasing global demand, which has risen to nearly 4.6 percent. The country presently produces approximately 120-130 million square meter of carpet yearly with annual consumption of around 70 million square meters.
Its share in country's total textile production reaches about 51 percent.
According to the experts, global market for this industry is roughly US $126 billion and is expected to grow further. There is immense requirement in international market and Saudi producers are ready to fulfill it.
