Cotton & polyester yarn in Shengze remain steady over last week

In the period from March 24 to 30, cotton and polyester yarn prices in Shengze region showed steadiness.
All cotton yarn price was in consolidation, of which 32s price was at 19,100 yuan per ton, J40S price remained steady at 23,400 yuan per ton. The demands were better compared to other products.
Polyester yarn price stayed even, compared to last week, of which 45s price was at 15,600 yuan per ton, with smooth sales. 50s price remained at 16,500 yuan per ton.
PSF price for the week looked more stable, with market price focused at 11,550 yuan per ton. Market outlook is expected to maintain a consolidation trend.
Polyester and Viscose yarn, polyester and cotton blended yarn market had little change; market trade volume was still very small. Of which rayon yarn 10s, 13s dropped 100-200 yuan per ton, by the weekend with market central prices closed at 23,500 yuan and 23,600 yuan per ton respectively. 30s had better demand.
Central price of VSF last week was at about 20,300 per ton which now fell to 19,900 yuan per ton. However, next week rayon yarn market is expected to extend its downward trend.
