The Inter-Textile Beijing Apparel Fabric exhibition from March 27 to 29, was organized by Messe Frankfurt of Hong Kong at China International Exhibition Centre (CIEC), to bring together manufacturers and suppliers of fabrics and accessories from all around the world.
More than 1,000 domestic and international companies actively participated here and ended up making good overseas trade relations. In the three day event, exhibitors had put up stalls to display textile related products and machinery for the visitors.
The entrepreneurs from Pakistan received a good response from Chinese as well as from buyers of other countries. The pavilion was flooded with apparels, raw materials, yarns and fabrics for the global buyers.
Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), had taken the initiative and arranged for the participation of domestic enterprises.
Experts believe that, once the Sino-Pak FTA gets executed, the export from Pakistan to China will become hassle free and many products including textiles will get tax relief, giving exporters privilege in comparison to other nations.
Over the years, China has emerged as a potential market for textiles, as a result all the nations are heading towards the country to cater to the growing demand.
