INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA - USA), has successfully established its presence in India by conducting nonwoven training workshops, international conferences and specialized programme on Geotextiles aimed at promoting the emerging Nonwoven & Technical Textiles Industry in India.

The two nonwoven training workshops in Mumbai & Coimbatore in Jan & July2007, the major international conference "Link with India" in Mumbai during Oct 2007 and the collaborative Training Course on Geotextiles at Surat, Delhi & Coimbatore in March 2008 with the textile commissioners office, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India drew participants from all over India and appreciation from all quarters. The promotion and awareness created by INDA programmes set the ball rolling in India with many new projects coming up in the Nonwoven & Technical Textiles segment.

INDA believes that India will grow substantially and more rapidly than China in the Nonwoven & Technical Textiles segment and offer great potential for the global Nonwoven & technical textiles industry in the years to come. In order to facilitate this growth, INDA in association with TecniTex Nonwovens Pvt Ltd., once again offers its famous nonwoven training workshops this summer in India at three places viz., Ahmedabad, Coimbatore and Kolkata.

Dr. Seshadri Ramkumar Co-chairman of the INDA-India committee and of the Nonwovens and Advanced Materials Laboratory, Texas Tech University will serve as course tutor for summer training workshops.
