A 100 strong buyer delegation team, specially flown in from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be a major highlight of the fifth edition of the F&A Trade Show 2008, slated to be held at the Export Promotion Industrial Park, Whitefield, Bangalore, India on the weekend of June 6 to 8, 2008.
"The purpose of their visit is to identify prospective-supply chain partners in fabrics and garment accessories in a bid to establish long term and enduring business relationships," said Mr. P. Krishna Murthy, CEO, S S Media & Marketing, organizers of the show.
i"To enable participants to interact with the visitors in an exclusive and business-like atmosphere, we will be organizing a special event called the 'Business Networking Forum,' on the evening of the first day of the show," said Mr Murthy. The theme will focus on 'South Asia and Emerging Global Opportunities in Textiles/Garments.'
This will be addressed by an elite panel comprising senior representatives from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, who will give a perspective of their country's current position and the road ahead and how they perceive the emerging opportunities.
"We are also expecting a delegation of garment manufacturers and exporters from Vietnam and a confirmation is expected soon," said Murthy.
