It must be very difficult situation for manufacturers, as cotton prices are sky-rocketing. This instability in prices is creating a lot of pressure on the users.
Although the month of May saw a bit of steadiness in the prices, where in it stood at Rs3,500 per mound and then remained stable at Rs3,700 per mound for few days.
Today, according to Karachi Cotton Association (KCA), prices of cotton were quoted at Rs3,800 per mound.
Such fluctuations are creating confusion in the market and taking its toll on the manufacturers. The unstable trend in the international markets seems to be affecting the domestic scenario as well.
