RadiciGroup-Radifloor will raise price for all its BCF yarns by 0.15 Euro per kilogram effective July 1, 2008. This increase will apply to the full range of Polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 BCF yarns.
Sustained increases in raw materials from benzene to caprolactam and adipic acid have driven polyamide to unprecedented cost levels this year. In addition, the rise in energy and transportation costs have impacted heavily overall production and logistics costs.
Crude oil price heading toward 140 US$/barrel and raw materials quotations still on the rise will continue to affect the global economics of our BCF yarn production.
These extraordinary market conditions force RadiciGroup to implement this price increases on all its BCF yarns in all regions.
