Brazilians are enthusiastic about sports. Worldwide known as the country of soccer and the only nation five times champion of the world championship in this competition it also has 4,000 registered fitness centers and 3 million enrolled students, who consume more and more products directed to sports activities.

It is the creator of sports that are now considered as Olympic, like sand volleyball and has in its athletic history unforgettable names like Ayrton Senna (Automobilism), Pelé (Soccer), and Rodrigo Pessoa (Horse riding).

So much enthusiasm and history make Brazil a creative and an effervescent country in the sports market, mainly in the development of textile and apparel pieces for this segment.

Casa Brasil in Beijing is important for showing to the directors of the International Olympic Committee, the International Sports Federations and the other National Olympic Committees the work and the sports projects that have been developed in Brazil in favor or the Olympic movement.

The purpose of this action is to diffuse the brands and products promoting the country through our cultural riches, as well as its economic and business structure and the opportunity to generate businesses.

Within this context, ABIT - Associação Brasileira da Indústria Têxtil e de Confecção [Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association – ABIT] in partnership with APEX-Brasil – Agência Brasileira da Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos [Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments – APEX-Brasil], through the Texbrasil Program – The Brazilian Textile Chain Strategic Program, supports the institutional participation of 5 Brazilian brands of the sports segment (Rosset, Bia Brazil, Olympikus, Mormaii and Track and Field) at Casa Brasil in Beijing.

In order to have an idea of the sector's importance for the Brazilian market, Guia Texbrasil [Texbrasil Guide] - the main database of the Brazilian textile chain, has about 570 registered fitness companies. The access to this mailing is free of charges and can be performed after the company registration.
