It has been reported that Silk and Women's Apparel Fair 2008, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and Hangzhou Municipal Government, will be held from 31 October to 3 November, 2008 at Hangzhou Peace International Exhibition Center.

This is just the second year of this event, which is a product of merger between China International Silk Fair and China International Women's Apparel Fair.

This Expo is now gradually moving towards specialization with more fashionable and international elements. This strategy is bound to make it popular soon.

Sources inform that this fair is expected to display over 20,000 kinds of products by nearly 400 participating companies, covering more than 20,000 square meters.

The exposition has already confirmed participation of 15 Korean designers and 10 Korean companies.

Japan has planned to send a purchase delegation of 20 people and more than 10 companies to the fair.

Delegates from countries like United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Turkey are also to attend this year.

However, the highlight of the Fair will definitely be the participation of international designer and master of Russion fashion, Egor Zaitsev, who will not only showcase his best works but also conduct a fashion conference.

The committee has invited more than 1,000 brands, outstanding franchisee, famous commercial cities, all major retail markets and representatives of wholesale market to participate in this Hangzhou exposition.
