The district level event which will conclude tomorrow is sponsored by the Development Commissioner for Handloom, Ministry of Textiles, India. Mr Lotha, who attended the event as its Chief Guest, addressed the gathering saying, “10-20 years down the line, our identity could be lost and the only way to preserve Naga identity is through handloom and handicraft.”

Mr P Meren, General Manager, who was also present at the fair, averred that the expo was one of its kind in the district and that the corporation would strive hard to make it an annual affair.
