New image & new imagery win acclaim for British Wool at NFS

British Wool won the NFS Award for best-designed modular shell scheme at this year's National Floor Show with its newly launched contemporary image; designed to highlight British Wool products to a younger generation of consumers.

The chic, stylist influenced backdrop highlighted the 'Shades of Nature' yarn innovation presentation case, which was introduced at the show.

It also presented the powerful new roomset imagery that British Wool has recently developed with leading magazine stylists, in order to attract designer conscious consumers to good quality British Wool carpet.

“We have an excellent brand in British Wool which is rolled out by leading carpet manufacturers. Our new image and imagery is to ensure that we can reflect quality and luxury in roomset photography that project this standard and attract consumer magazines and a new generation of consumers.” Said Irfan Khan, Promotions Manager at the British Wool Marketing Board (BWMB).

The 'Shades of Nature' yarn promotion also achieved significant interest from the industry. The yarn innovation box presents nine breeds and three blended yarns for the tufted carpet industry in their natural undyed form. Highlighting the texture and yarn potential of British Wool breeds.

“Our many unique breed stories are a massive part of the British Wool story and we wanted to introduce this in a visible and tactile way.

Many people are surprised that there are so many options and it really opens their mind to the potential of our wool in yarn and carpet.” Explained Richard Poole, European Business Manager at the BWMB.
