Sultex Ltd changes name to ITEMA (Switzerland) Ltd

Promatech, Sultex, ITEMA Weaving Machinery (China) and FIRST are being moulded into “ONE company” as announced during ITMA ASIA/CITME 2008 in Shanghai. This means, one group management, one sales and service organisation, one group marketing department, one head quarter and finally, one integrated supply chain and data system.
The resulting synergies and consolidation of extensive expertise and experience will clearly benefit our customers with regard to an improved offer for our products and services.
The next step – formation of identity:
The forming of the “ONE company” model in various steps fosters the creation of a global identity as follows:
-Name change of Sultex Limited. As of January 2009, the company will be named ITEMA (Switzerland) Ltd.
-The offices will be moved from Ruti to Wetzikon in the second quarter of 2009 to form a strategic centre of competence and to profit from proximity to other ITEMA group members (Loepfe)
-With the new company name all the email addresses will change as per the following example:
firstname.name@itemagroup.com
-The old email addresses, firstname.name@sultex.com will remain functional until the middle of 2009.
-As soon as all formalities have been completed in Italy, the name of Promatech will be changed to ITEMA (Italy) Spa.
-Internet websites will be merged and updated. The release is scheduled for the second quarter of 2009.

ITEMA is investing into the future, yours and ours. This is why a complete integration and consolidation of location and infrastructure will benefit and facilitate the development of high-tech machinery, advanced weaving technology, services, accessories and spare parts.
