Special Session on medical and biomedical applications features intelligent product innovations

Gerhard Havranek, Head of Marketing Trevira CS & Strategic Business Development at Trevira GmbH in Germany, presents Bioactive Fibers for Antimicrobial Textiles, focusing on new fibers and filament yarns containing a silver additive which is integrated into the polyester polymer backbone providing permanent antimicrobial protection with internationally recognized test standards.
