OOO Stäubli RUS unit to serve Connectors markets

The Swiss-based Stäubli Group, a leading mechatronics solution provider, has opened a Saint Petersburg office to meet the growing demand of the Russian market. Stäubli Russia assumed operations with a team of 12, including sales engineers and support staff for the Connectors division.

The new Russian unit will ensure the distribution of Connectors in the European part of Russia, serving industries such as plastics, automotive, railway, aeronautics, steel and many more. Sales engineers are based in various industrial centers of the country, with a strong focus on Moscow, as well as Saint Petersburg. Effective February 5, 2009 the Stäubli office has been registered in Russia as a limited company under the name OOO "Stäubli RUS".

Robotics customers may contact Stäubli in St. Petersburg whenever a Stäubli Robotics specialist is needed. Textile division customers will continue to be assisted by the Stäubli agent Textima.

Mr. Elio Spiewok has been designated as the Managing Director for Stäubli Russia. He previously held the position of a Sales Director in a trading company, in charge of the distribution of plastics production machinery in Russia, the Baltics and Central Asia.

Stäubli is a mechatronics solution provider with three dedicated divisions: textile machinery, connectors and robotics. With a workforce of over 3000, Stäubli has a presence in 25 countries and agents in 50 countries around the world.As one of the leading manufacturers of quick connector systems, Stäubli covers connection needs for all types of fluids, gases and electrical power. These standard or specific products (single and multiple connectors, tool changers, quick mould change systems) combine performance, quality, safety, dependability and durability.
