Housing Works Thrift Shops is opening a new location at 130 Crosby St in Soho! Come join us on Saturday, April 25 for an all-day Grand Opening party from 10am to 7pm. The party will feature a DJ, refreshments from The Works Catering, Housing Works T-shirts (with purchase), as well as dozens of the clothing and furniture finds for which Housing Works Thrift Shops are famous.

Housing Works members get exclusive Grand Opening preview shopping from 9am to 10am. Join now!

Some of what we're saving for the Grand Opening event:
• Dior logo bean bags
• Ostrich leather couch
• Marc Jacobs denim zip jacket
• Diane von Furstenberg dress
• Marni leather purse
• Vivienne Westwood stilettos
• Moschino platform pumps
• Etro men's dress shirt
• Prada men's sharkskin pants

The Soho Thrift Shop is already accepting housewares and clothing donations at Housing Works' popular Housing Works Bookstore Café next door at 126 Crosby St. Donations are the backbone of Housing Works Thrift Shops, so all New Yorkers are strongly encouraged to donate items at any location. (See more donation information.)

The new Soho location brings the total number of Housing Works Thrift Shops to nine—plus online shopping available at Shophousingworks.com. Last month, Housing Works opened a store at 72 Warren St. in Tribeca.

“The new Soho Housing Works will bring Housing Works Thrift Shops to one of the most famous shopping neighborhoods in the world and help us spread awareness of our mission to fight AIDS to a vastly larger group of people,” said Richard Vorisek, president of Housing Works Thrift Shops.

All profits from Housing Works Thrift Shops go to Housing Works' lifesaving services for homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with HIV and AIDS. Those services include housing, medical care, meals, job training and drug treatment programs. Like Housing Works' other locations, the Soho store will provide jobs for participants in Housing Works job training program for people living with HIV and AIDS.
