Not only were exhibitors happy with the results on the fair but visitors were as well. “This is a very good show and we are able to find what we want – good quality fabrics for children's wear from Chinese suppliers,” commented Mr Vicente Mompo Buchon, Director General for Tutto Piccolo, Spain.

Domestic visitor, Mr James Wu, Manager for Shanghai Tendex Trade Co Ltd., echoed Mr Buchon's thoughts. “This fair provides an excellent sourcing platform for us and I have been able to find many new, high-quality products very easily and all at reasonable prices.”

In addition to sourcing a wide range of fabrics from silks and mohair to ramie and cotton blends, three special trend forums were on display to reflect the 2010 Spring / Summer fashion forecasts organised by the Interstoff Directions team in the international hall and the China trends for both menswear and ladieswear in the domestic halls, plus a number of seminars offered.

The next edition of Intertextile Apparel Fabrics will be held in Shanghai from 20 – 23 October 2009 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The show is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT-Tex and the China Information Textile Centre.
