Two show cards to help promote ranges of quality British wool carpet
May '09
British Wool launch two new retail show cards this month as part of their new marketing campaign.

The A4 glossy show cards 'Origin is Everything' and 'Natural Integrity', will be distributed to British Wool licensed manufacturers this month and will then become available to retail showrooms to help promote ranges of quality British Wool carpet.

“We felt it was time to move on from the highly successful 'British Wool…naturally' message which has been a great core message for us for many years.” Said Irfan Khan, Promotions Manager at the British Wool Marketing Board.

“Our research is clearly pointing to the fact that people are evaluating their purchases in a different way, they are making more considered decisions about the composition of the product and we wanted to tie in these themes so that we have relevant and memorable messages.”

“Although these campaigns have been planned for some time, the trend in the UK currently has a very British feel about it. The flag is flying high and is attracting a new generation of consumers who see buying British product as 'cool'. On another level, origin and integrity goes further back than simply the country of origin, it refers to British sheep and their wool, which of course, is naturally grown.”
