The organizers of SPineXPO Shanghai are pleased to announce the first edition of SPineXPO new york, which will take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion & altman Bldg on 20-21-22 July 2009.

This fair will present a high-quality range of promoters and manufacturers of textile fibres, international spinning mills for flat knitting (sweaters), circular knitting (jersey type woven fabric for lingerie and underwear), clothing and furnishing fabric, and manufacturers of mid/upmarket range hosiery.

SPineXPO new york will present a specialist fair in these textile sectors, making a closely targeted, high-quality, sophisticated international offer to the American ready-to-wear industry with an integrated knitwear line, to producers of flat and circular knitwear & to weavers for clothing and furnishings fabrics in search of textile yarns and fibres that will allow them to diversify their current production without having to travel to other continents.

On the strength of its experience of 7 consecutive years in Asia (14 editions), sPINeXPO New York aims to bring its professionalism to manufacturers in America and facilitate a profitable encounter between suppliers and users selected for the quality and added value of their products.

This approach is more in line with the idea of Business Meetings between textiles partners than that of a non-specialist fair. SPineXPO new york, like all specialist fairs, focuses on the quality of its exhibitors rather than their number and seeks to aid the u.S. textiles industry, and those of other north, central or South American countries, in discovering new partners. SPineXPO aims to be a business fair, a meeting place for specialists and users, offering professionals on the american continent the maximum of innovative products (new technology, and also new fibres) and detailed information, facilitating contacts in a pleasant, professional environment (seminars, catwalks specific to the knitted sector, machines and technical explanations.) as such, SPineXPO is organized not by an institution specialized in organizing fairs, but by a team of textiles specialists who have worked in this sector for many years.

SPineXPO aims to enable buyers to anticipate international fashion trends by engaging in dialogue with suppliers and agents who are specialists in their sector, and to keep abreast of the latest trends in textile production, by providing information on all that's new in the world of textile fibres, with a very comprehensive trends Forum and a program of specialist seminars. this first edition highlights our determination to provide our visitors with genuine, dynamic services and facilitate real interactivity between suppliers and visitors. Our experience on another continent enables us to present companies of excellent quality, with internationally experience, representing the mid/upmarket range of their respective countries.

SPineXPO seeks to be a bridge between these textile partners and support their dialogue in their pursuit of business. SPineXPO is backed by large-scale partners -- StOll uSa, which has been a partner of SPineXPO Shanghai from the first edition, and Australian Wool innovation, which will provide technical and creative support with presentations & seminars. All the information offered at SPineXPO (trend catalogues, specific presentations, seminars and exhibitions) is free of charge.
