Jaipur Rugs wins award for Corporate Social Responsibility

In a glittering ceremony held on 09.07.2009 at ITC Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi, Jaipur Rugs Company Private Limited was felicitated for being the best SME for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the 1st Business Today – Yes Bank SME Survey & Awards, 2009. The award was conferred for the Company's contribution towards the Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

The winner's trophy for best SME for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was handed over to the Company's Managing Director Shri N.K.Chaudhary by Shri Anand Sharma, Honorable Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The event was jointly convened by Business Today and Yes Bank. The event was attended by distinguished gathering including various government officials, senior bank personnel's, industry members and eminent personalities from the various fields.

The award has been given to the Company for its continuing growth and passion towards Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. The award has increased the Company's responsibility to the Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. The Company is committed to deliver value addition to the society in the best possible manner by improving the level of societal welfare.

Mr. N.K. Chaudhary shared the passion of Jaipur Rugs team with the audience for their deep commitment to improve the well being of people and society at large. He warmly accepted the recognition as a motivating factor to strive for higher avenues in the CSR initiatives of the company.
