Dillard's, Inc. announced the election of former U.S. Congressman J.C. Watts, Jr. to its board of directors. Mr. Watts' election follows the resignation of James A. Haslam, III who resigned effective immediately to focus on other responsibilities.

Dillard's Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, William Dillard, II, stated, “We thank Jimmy for his service to Dillard's and our shareholders. His insight and contributions have benefited us greatly and we wish him well.” Mr. Dillard added, “We are pleased to welcome J.C. back to the board.
