New Year heralds good tidings for wool sector

In recent days, beginning from the start of the year, wool futures have risen significantly, particularly medium weight 21 micron wool.
Wool industry experts attribute the same to a shortage of wool of the particular quality as well as to signs of recovery in international markets.
India and China have emerged as big buyers and this element is also considered for the strong growth in futures wool markets in Australia.
But at the same time they aver that unemployment figures are at the highest in the United States, so they are pessimistic of this rally continuing for long.
