Japan's ethylene production in March was down when compared with February, but up when compared with the period a year, ago.
Ethylene production registered 513,400 tons in March, down 13.5 percent compared with February, but up 1.7 percent year on year.
The output was down mainly due to the impact of the maintenance turnaround of three naphtha crackers in February, the Ministry of Economy & Industry, informed.
