In Chinese market Caprolactam prices moved down by RMB 50 / ton. New prices assessed around RMB 23,100 / ton. Feedstock (Benzene) prices also reported drop of 2.67 percent. Market speculators still expected fall in prices of Caprolactam within short term.
In Chinese market Nylon chips prices remained stable around RMB 24,500 / ton. Prices have been steady since last ten days. Market speculators expected fall in Nylon chip prices in tandem with upstream prices.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices have remained steady since last week at around RMB 26,900 / ton, RMB 28,100 / ton and RMB 29,600 / ton, respectively. Nylon Filament yarn producers continued wait and watch stance regarding stocking raw material requirements and lowering down their inventories.
