In Chinese market, Caprolactam prices remained stable around RMB 22,200 / ton, while upstream product prices continued to follow declining trend. Market traders waited for more stabilization of the Caprolactam prices and avoided trading
Nylon chips prices remained stable around RMB 24,200 / ton. In a view of stable Caprolactam prices, Nylon chips prices also remained steady. Market traders still expect fall in Nylon chip prices.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices remained stable around RMB 26,900 / ton, RMB 28,200 / ton and RMB 29,600 / ton respectively. Fall in Caprolactam prices and price of conventional textile grade nylon chips is expected to drag down the nylon filament yarn prices in near future.
