National Brand Program witnesses 43 firms participation

The Ministry of Industry and Trade on May 26 has publicized a list, citing the names of those 43 enterprises, which have been chosen to be a part of the National Brand Name Program 2010.
These chosen companies operate in various sectors like textiles and garments, leather and footwear, financial services, energy and food.
The program that is conducted by the Government, twice a year, pushes the Vietnamese goods to compete in both the local as well as global markets.
Besides this, the program also induces exports of products for industrial processing while bringing down the prices of raw material exports, as also reinforcing brand acknowledgment for Vietnamese products.
This year, more than 2,000 companies have enrolled their names to be a part of the National Brand Name Program.
