In response to the growing trend in OUTDOOR for garments with wool, ADVANSA introduces its latest innovation in fibre technology at the Outdoor fair in Friedrichshafen: Thermo Cool with wool. The combination of wool and Thermo Cool combines the best properties of both fibres: the natural touch of wool with the excellent moisture management and thermo buffering properties of Thermo Cool.

Thermo Cool with wool is an ideal combination and the right choice for functional Outdoor garments with the natural and luxury touch of wool; made with a specially modified copolymer for softness and low temperature dyeing. Whatever the weather, whatever the activity Thermo Cool transforms high quality wool garments into incomparable functional clothing and gives the user a light weight and well-tempered wearing experience for many different purposes: first and second layers, sweaters or socks - ideal for activities in all climates, such as hiking, running, climbing, golf and cycling.

The benefits using Thermo Cool with wool fabrics are in reducing the effect that the humid climate or tough exercise would have on the wearers' performance, helping to keep him dry while he is exercising and thermo regulated and comfortable whenever needed. The yarns are available from worsted yarn suppliers Kammgarnspinnerei Stöhr, Germany and Zhangjiagang Yangtse Spinning, China. Some of the well known sock manufacturers - F. J. Bamkin & Son Ltd. (United Kingdom), Gold Toe Moretz (USA), Intersocks (Italy), Jacob Rohner (Switzerland) and Kamik (Canada) - are offering in their new lines socks with Thermo Cool with wool due to the thermoregulation properties and unique softness, combining functionality and natural touch of wool in one yarn.

Superior evaporative cooling, thermo buffering and exceptional wearing properties are what is all about thanks to the unique fibre mix in Thermo Cool with wool. Through this fibre combination, the garment keeps better the body temperature for longer in a comfort zone throughout all of the exercise period, independent of being in high or low activity phase and thereby giving every wearer the opportunity to perform to their best while experiencing well balanced wearing comfort at all times.

Advansa invites you to discover the latest High-Tech range of Advansa Thermo Cool products at Outdoor Friedrichshafen 15-18 July 2010, Hall A4 – 207.
