Market Center Management Company (MCMC), the management company of GlobalTex: LA International Textile & Sourcing Fair, announced Supima will join the fall show to be held September 28-30, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC), West Hall, Hall A. The show will deliver a growing number of resources with leading trend information in its high-energy and professional venue.

Supima surpasses other cottons in softness, strength and brilliance of color. It has a longer staple length, a stronger fiber and a vibrant fiber. It is extra-long-staple cotton grown in California and the Southwestern U.S. Brooks Brothers, Bloomingdale's and Lane Bryant has acclaimed its quality, performance and fashion ability. Supima is represented by a board of directors composed of 11 Pima cotton producers: seven from California, two from Texas, and one each from Arizona and New Mexico.
GlobalTex is the first full-scale production and design trade show in the United States presenting the complete supply chain for fashion. GlobalTex features the latest fabric, trim, yarn, textile design, garment manufacturing including private label, and manufacturing technology. The show attracts leading designers, product developers, retailers, and wholesalers. In addition, the show offers helpful tailored networking services and practical seminars that support the global fashion and design industries.
