Hey Tekstil to launch four new factories in Anatolia
Jul '10
Hey Tekstil, a leading textile company in Turkey is to launch four new factories in different parts of Anatolia, which would bring the total number of its manufacturing units to 12.

Presently, Hey is in agreement with eight international brand factories in Istanbul, Çankiri, Nevsehir, Kastamonu and Batman, to produce textiles and readymade garments for them.

The company has diverted its funds towards expansion of its facilities at Batman, a city in South-East of Anatolia. At present, the company owns and manages a textile manufacturing plant in Batman, in collaboration with a local firm there. The extension that happened on 11,000 square meters of area is seen to go functional in the month of August.

Also, as one more plant of the company, in Central Anatolian city of Kirikkale is gearing up for launch in October, it will lay a milestone for its third factory at Central Nevsehir in August. Eventually, the company at present is hunting for a suitable spot in Diyarbakir to enliven its fourth venture.

Hey Tekstil is persistently cashing in on the incentives offered for investing in Anatolia and is very close to launching its four new plants mentioned in the aforesaid cities. These new expansions in their initial stage are likely to offer employment to around 2,000 people.
