ICAC Seminar -'Challenges for a Sustainable Textile Industry'

An international seminar under the theme “Challenges for a Sustainable Textile Industry” will be held on October 14, 2010 in Taipei, Taiwan, at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC).
The seminar is organized by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) and the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC). The seminar will complement the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS), to be held on October 13-15, 2010.
The seminar will focus on challenges for environmentally responsible production, of fibers and textiles, innovation, effective use of natural resources and corporate social responsibility, supply chain management, and integrating sustainability into strategy.
The Secretariat of the Committee publishes information related to world cotton production, supply, demand and prices, and provides technical information on cotton production technology.
