Technical Tour following the Plenary Meeting
Sep '10
Many people are expressing an interest in the technical tour following the ICAC (International Cotton Advisory Committee) Plenary Meeting in Lubbock. Space is limited to the capacity of one bus, 50 people, and more than half that number has already registered. Individuals with an interest should notify the Secretariat as soon as possible.

This will be an excellent technical tour. There is no other region in the world with the concentration of farm operations, input suppliers, private and public sector research activities, warehouses, gins, merchants, transportation infrastructure for cotton and textile activities.

This three-day tour is highly recommended for all those with an interest in learning about the full scale of cotton production, handling, storage, merchandising and processing operations.

The tour will commence on Saturday afternoon September 25 and continue through Monday afternoon September 27. Participants will return to Lubbock each evening. Participants may choose to attend only one or two days of the Technical Tour if they wish.
