TEA members continue to run their units on September 24-25

In a press release issued, Shri.A.Sakthivel, President, TEA (Tirupur Exporters' Association) has informed that as decided unanimously in the meeting of all major Associations (SIHMA, KNITcMA, DAT, TIF, TEKPA, SIIMKA, Computer Embroidery Association, Tirupur Raising Association, Tirupur Checking Ironing Oil Stain Removing Association and including our Association) held in TEA Board Room on 17th September 2010, TEA members would continue to run their units on 24th & 25th September 2010 and any further course of action will be based on the outcome of group of Ministers meeting scheduled on 27th September 2010.

Tirupur Exporters' Association - popularly known as TEA -was established in July 1990. This association is especially for Cotton Knitwear Exporters who have State of the Art production facilities in Tirupur, the Knit City. The City has registered a consistent growth of around 30% for every consecutive year since 1988.
