HCM city hosts VTG 2010 exhibition

The 10th Vietnam International Textile and Garments Industry Exhibition that has been inaugurated in HCM City will have over 230 local as well as overseas firms showcasing their most recent products in 275 stalls.

The four-day VTG 2010 has been organized at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7. Over 16,000 visitors are likely to visit the exhibition.

The overseas exhibitors include India, Indonesia, Japan, mainland China, Australia, France, United States, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Turkey.

Phan The Hao, the head of the HCM City representative office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that, this yearly event provides an occasion for the local firms in the textile and garments sector to know about the highly developed technologies and obtain new machinery to develop product quality at lower costs.

Two seminars will be hosted by the Association of Garments, Textiles, Embroidery and Knitting to talk about the most recent trends, systems as well as technologies that are being used in the textile and garment industry.

The exhibition has been organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company, the Chan Chao International Company, the Paper Communication Exhibition Services Company and the Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Company.
