Delegates from four textile firms from the tense Sandzak region in Serbia are now on a visit to Warsaw, where they would discuss the issue of potential exports of textiles, from Serbia to Poland, with wholesale and retail representatives.
Developing the region's economic potential seems to be the only way out to calm the rising tension between the Central Government and the region.
There was a time when the region was known for its textile sector, but it has been gradually disintegrating since then.
According to the EU officials, the Serbian Government's main concern should be to maintain law and order in Sandzak.
