PeopleTowels, reusable personal hand towels that reduce deforestation and landfill waste, and help conserve water, announce two winners of the PeopleTowels' Big Green Dream Contest: Fabiana Zacarias, a 19-year old Fashion Institute of Technology design student, wins the Popular Choice Award for her design "Love, Not Waste" and Cristina Evans, 31, an apparel and graphic designer, wins the Judges' Choice Award for "Dream Green."

Kelly Chapple, 31, a second year student at Devry University is the Runner-up for "A Guide to Life." Zacarias and Evans each win $500, Chapple $250 and all three will have their winning designs printed as limited edition PeopleTowels and will receive stipends from online sales.

“We're amazed at the breadth of talent and creativity of all the design entries. We look forward to adding the three winning designs to our eco-chic collection of PeopleTowels,” said Linda Lannon, co-founder of PeopleTowels.

PeopleTowels' Big Green Dream Design Contest received design entries from across the nation. Nine finalists were chosen by a panel of esteemed judges from the green business community and one wild card entry was voted in by PeopleTowels' Facebook group.

PeopleTowels, LLC is the pioneer of the reusable personal hand towel category in the U.S. The company believes that every person can have an impact on the environment by making small lifestyle changes. PeopleTowels' mission is to empower ordinary people and companies to contribute to a sustainable environment by switching from paper towels to reusable PeopleTowels when they are at work or on-the-go to reduce waste and pollution.
