Paraxylene prices enhanced all over the global markets. In S E Asia, PX prices hiked by US$ 10/ton, and stood in the range of $1345/ton to $1350/ton. In Korean and Rotterdam Sea market, PX prices increased by US$ 15/ton and was assessed at US$ 1335/ton and US$ 1265/ton, respectively.
Upward trend was noticed in Asian PTA market in following the upstream. PTA prices marched up by US$ 5/ton and lingered in the range of US$ 1165/ton to US$ 1175/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA offers surged by RMB 100/ton and hovered in the range of RMB 9700/ton to RMB 9800/ton.
Firmness prevailed in ethylene market. Ethylene prices in S E Asian and F E Asian market were at US$ 1085/ton and US$ 1145/ton respectively. No change was recorded in European ethylene market. Ethylene price in international market was around US$ 1155/ton and in domestic market, price stood around € 985/ton.
Asian MEG market offer prices followed the firm trend of upstream. In S E Asian countries, MEG prices lingered in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In Chinese market, MEG offers were at the price level US$ 1030/ton.
Offers for BGPET Chip in S E Asian market were stable in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1500/ton. In Chinese domestic market, offers were in the range of RMB 11300/ton to RMB 11500/ton.
FGPET Chip was quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1460/ton in the Chinese export market. In Indian market, offer was around US$ 1480/ton.
