Entering in to October, Chinese textile and garment exports continued to grow, but the growth has significantly slowed down after entering the fourth quarter.
Data from customs showed that textile and apparel exports reached US $17.8 billion in October 2010, an increase of 21.5 percent year on year, but a decline of 11 percent from the previous month.
Of which, textile exports stood at $6.29 billion, an increase of 18.9 percent year on year, but a decline of 7.6 percent from the previous month and apparel exports were $11.51 billion, up 23 percent year on year, but down 12.8 percent from the previous month.
