PX & PTA prices firm up, MEG stable

Paraxylene price in S E Asian region grew robustly by US$ 125/ton in last three days. Price hovered in the range of US$ 1530/ton to US$ 1540/ton. PX price in Korean market fell and was marked around US$ 1470/ton. In Chinese market, PX price hovered in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1470/ton.
Asian PTA market turned firm and price went up to in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1290/ton. Price of PTA in F E Asian region was quoted at US$ 1285/ton. In Chinese domestic market, price of PTA increased and remained in the range of RMB 10250/ton to RMB 10400/ton.
Ethylene prices remained stable in the global markets. In S E Asian market, prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1100/ton to US$ 1105/ton. F E Asian price was in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In European international and domestic markets price was stable at US$ 1290/ton and € 1065/ton, respectively.
MEG price was stable in the global markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1145/ton to US$ 1150/ton. In Chinese markets, price of MEG was around US$ 1145/ton. In the Chinese domestic market MEG price was in the range of RMB 8900/ton to RMB 8950/ton.
BGPET Chips price increased in S E Asian region and hovered in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1575/ton. Price in Chinese domestic market moved in the range of RMB 12275/ton to RMB 12425/ton. In Chinese markets traders increased their offer to around US$ 1600/ton to US$ 1610/ton for the goods imported from Korean ports but no deals were concluded.
FGPET Chips prices in Chinese markets were observed in the range of US$ 1535/ton to US$ 1550/ton. Price in Indian market was assessed in the range of US$ 1585/ton.
