Sinopec announces Jan pre-offers for chips & PSF

Sinopec Group recently announced pre-offers for polyester chips and polyester staple fiber under January contracts. Pre-offers for semi-dull chips are 11800 Yuan / ton, bright chips and industrial yarn grade chips at 11800 Yuan / ton and dull-class chips at 12,600 Yuan / ton.
Polyester chip market maintained a good situation. Mainstream quotation in the market stood at about 12400-12500 Yuan / ton from January 7-13.
In the case of pre-offers for polyester staple fiber; 1.4D semi-dull is at 12,800 Yuan / ton, 1.2D semi-dull at 12,850 Yuan / ton and 1.2D bright at 13800-13850 Yuan / ton (all to be delivered to buyer's destination).
In the PSF market, real-time quotations were; 1.4D semi-dull at 13,400 Yuan / ton, 1.2D semi-dull at 13,450 Yuan / ton and 1.2D bright at 14400-14450 Yuan / ton (all to be delivered to buyer's destination)
Currently (January 7-13) in mainstream market, 1.4D polyester staple fiber was offered at 13000-13400 Yuan / ton (cash or acceptance), the offer rose 200 Yuan compared with the previous week.
