The participation of the Turkish brand Isko in the Denim & Sportswear universe was an important showcase for the label, which has been in the Brazilian market for only eight months, but is an international leader in this industry, serving big labels such as Diesel, Dolce&Gabbana and Zara. For Marcos Renaux, Isko representative in Brazil, the salon was a great surprise not only due to the number of visitors, but also due to the quality of the audience. “It was very profitable to get closer to customers who are geographically far from the brand,” Mr. Renaux said.

To seek inspiration, Brazilian fashion celebrities were also present. Besides Kherlakian, Dzenk and Mario Queiroz, Première Brasil also welcomed Amir Slama, Reinaldo Lourenço and Mara MacDowell, who attended the Trends Forum, saw the Color Range and visited several booths. “This year, Première Brasil brought very different proposals, and instilled a mood of optimism in exhibitors. The event is complete!” Costanza Pascolato said while walking through the aisles.

An explosion of colors for the Spring/Summer 2012 collections

Once again, the Fashion Conference presented by Pascaline Wilhelm, Première Vision Fashion Director, packed the conference room on both days of the event. The conference contents included all the inspirations for Spring/Summer 2012, adapted for the Latin American market, full of colors, lightness and transparency.

Developed by the fashion team, in a concerted effort with the exhibitors, the Forum, held at the entrance to the show, exhibited a show of fabrics, fibers, yarns, patterns and accessories to the visitors. Not to mention the long-awaited Color Range, which revealed the nuances of the season. “This season evokes lightness and movement, balance and imbalance, and combinations of colors, shapes and textures that promise to add the differences and chaos of everyday life, opening new possibilities to be developed in the fashion universe,” anticipated Mrs. Wilhelm.

Trends for this season from the entrance of Première Brasil

At Première Brasil, visitors found the hostesses wearing looks designed by the TS Studio, headed by designer Tereza Santos. “Briefed by the organizers, we could design the looks,” Mrs. Santos said.

Dressed in white woven T-shirts, patchwork skirts, fabric shoes by Claudia Mourão and accessories, the hostesses highlighted concepts like freedom, individuality, diversity and comfort. “Each piece of clothing is a unique creation; the wrap-up skirts are made up by several eight to nine-centimeter fabrics from various exhibitors,” said Mrs. Santos.

The looks were designed with the support of the following exhibitors who participated in the creation of TS Studio: Advance Têxtil, Cedro, Dalila, Farbe, Glow, GVallone, Horizonte Têxtil, Kalimo, LC Malhas, Lunelli, Marilua, Marles, Menegotti, Strobel, Tecelagem Columbia, Tecelagem Panamericana, and Tecelagem Saliba.

Première Vision is considered the most important global event presenting textile trends, focusing on fabrics, color range, and yarns.
