PTA market atmosphere in North China was calm on February 9, holders gradually returned back to the market, market offers were light, sporadic offers ranged around 11,200 Yuan / ton, counteroffers from downstream sector were around 11,050 Yuan / ton, actually negotiated price was around 11,100 Yuan / ton, festive atmosphere was still thick and actual negotiation was scarce.
PTA trading atmosphere was quiet in East China market too. Sporadic offers were around 11,200 Yuan / ton, counteroffers from downstream sector were around 11,050 Yuan / ton, actually negotiated price was around 11,100 Yuan / ton, trading atmosphere was calm, actual discussion was light.
Trading atmosphere of PTA import spot market appeared calm on February 9. Offers for Taiwan's goods were around US $1440 / ton, sporadic inquiries were around US $1390-1400/ ton.
Offers for cargo from South Korea were around US $1,400 / ton, inquiries were around US $1380/ ton. However, overall trading atmosphere was quiet, actual negotiation was scarce.
