PX, PTA & MEG prices continue to rise

Paraxylene prices increased in S E Asian region to US$ 1640/ton due to firm upstream. Price hovered in the range of US$ 1635/ton to US$ 1645/ton. PX price in Korean market was marked around US$ 1635/ton. In Chinese market, PX price stood in the range of US$ 1630/ton to US$ 1640/ton.

Asian PTA price went up to in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1470/ton. Price of PTA in F E Asian region was quoted at US$ 1465/ton. In Indian market, PTA price was around US$ 1475/ton. In Chinese market price of PTA was in the range of RMB 11500/ton to RMB 11600/ton.

Ethylene price remain unchanged in S E Asian market and was quoted in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1210/ton. F E Asian price was in the range of US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In European international and domestic markets price was stable at US$ 1410/ton and € 1110/ton, respectively. In U.S.A market Ethylene was around 48.00 cents/pound.

MEG price went up in the global markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1270/ton but deals mainly concluded around US$ 1250/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG was in the range of US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1265/ton.

BGPET Chips price was stable in S E Asian region and hovered in the range of US$ 1805/ton to US$ 1825/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers was in the range of US$ 1800/ton to US$ 1825/ton for imported goods.

FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets were in the range of US$ 1765/ton to US$ 1785/ton. Price in Indian market was assessed in the range of US$ 1770/ton to US$ 1780/ton.
