China's exports of man-made fibers (MMF) used in textiles realized a rapid growth in 2010. Among the main export countries were; the United States, Pakistan, Vietnam, Russia and Thailand.
Of which, exports of synthetic fibers to the United States reached US $160 million, up 46.46 percent y-o-y. To Pakistan, they rose by 105.07 percent to reach over $1 million.
Exports to Vietnam and Russia increased by 279.28 percent and 247.09 percent, respectively, due to a low export base in the previous year.
