INVISTA is hosting the second edition of its unique legwear event titled “LYCRA fiber MOVES” in Barcelona, Spain on Sept. 29 and 30. The event aims to bring around 250 textile industry professionals to the Mediterranean city, offering attendees an experience that will stretch the imagination—providing insights into future industry, retail and consumer trends, as well as a unique networking platform.

The company will use the two-day forum to introduce new features of its best-known brand, LYCRA fiber, to its international clients. The event will also offer the attendees a privileged overview of industry trends for the next five years. INVISTA will bring recognized trade journalists and guest speakers from all around the world to Barcelona who will share with the attendees independent points of view regarding retail trends and consumer insights and other business aspects.

“The 'LYCRA fiber MOVES' forum is a commitment of INVISTA to the legwear industry, following on from the success of the first edition in 2009 in Verona,” said Denise Sakuma, INVISTA's global segment director for legwear. “After two years of continuous R&D investment and exploring the upcoming trends of our sector, we are now ready to share our findings with clients, suppliers and professionals in an event that is going to be an inspiration for everyone.”

INVISTA is planning an event that will stretch the imagination of all the attendees with the intent of allowing them to improve their businesses and navigate the future of the industry. In addition to that, it will offer a unique chance to meet several professionals from all around the world generating networking opportunities during the two-day forum.

The second edition of “LYCRA fiber MOVES” will be held at the World Trade Centre in Barcelona at the end of September, coinciding with the International Exhibition of Textile Machinery (ITMA). Consuelo Bañon, INVISTA's European marketing manager for legwear added, “Barcelona has an incredible textile history, which makes the city an interesting and attractive location for us. Furthermore, it offers both professional and cultural venues allowing us to offer a fulfilling experience to each one of our guests.”
