“We are also in the process of setting up the first of its kind incubation centre for the technical textiles weaving sector”, he revealed with pride. “It is being set up at a cost of Rs 180 million. This centre will help entrepreneurs develop and produce their products and understand the viability of their products in the market, before setting up their own plants”, he informed further.

“The icing on the cake is a nanowebtechnology centre, the first such centre across whole of Asia and Europe. Nanoweb is basically solution electro spinning in which fibres of nano size are created, which are then put on a substrate, which helps in filtration of particles up to the nano level. This can be mainly used in medical masks to filter bacteria and virus and also in filters of automobiles to improve engine life”, he brought us up to date by saying.

“For the first time, ATIRA has on board, marketing staff, which will help us to market ourselves and also human resources people, to take the next leap forward”, he wrapped up this very informative chat by saying.
