New keynote speakers have been added to the Panorama Berlin conference line-up and will be presenting their informative insights to visitors in retail solutions hall 5. Panorama Berlin Spring/Summer 2020 edition, the meeting point for decision-makers from the fashion and lifestyle business, will be held from July 2-4, 2019, at the Berlin ExpoCenter City.

The new additions include industry leader Marc Ramelow, trend scout speaker Andreas Schulten, executive vice president of Wirecard Labs Jörn Leogrande, and expert in online payment technologies and future enthusiast Theresa Schleicher from the trend lab VORN Strategy Consulting, according to a press release on the show.

Marc Ramelow, managing director of Gustav Ramelow, will speak on the topic of ‘Sustainability in the fashion business: Customers are asking, are we answering?’

Jörn Leogranda, executive vice president innovation and value added services of Wirecard will speak on the topic ‘Shaping the future of retail – Digitalising the point of sale. How can we offer consumers the ultimate shopping experience?’

Andreas Schulten, partner of D.Vision Trendconsulting will talk on relevant trend spots for SS 2020. How emotional consumer and fashion trends can work together and achieve clarity.

Theresa Schleicher from VORN Strategy Consulting will talk on the topic ‘Retail disrupted – Networked retail trends of tomorrow.’ When dealing with the changes in retail, a certain paradoxical expertise is definitely required. We are already seeing countless visions and ideas today. This includes autonomous vehicles that take and deliver orders and robots working in stores. As well as the visions and fears there is also the idea that ecommerce will take over from stationary retail spaces and lead to empty stores. Today we are seeing Zalando with bricks-and-mortar partners, Amazon with its own bookstores, Karstadt-Kaufhof with the renaissance of a digitally remastered department store and entire cities that are reinventing themselves digitally in online cities. So what is it like when everything is aiming for one direction but also pulling in the opposite direction at the same time? These points will be discussed in this topic. (GK)
