Unfavourable market pulls down Asian benzene prices

Benzene prices marched lower in Asia in the last week due to unfavourable market conditions in the region.
In Korea, average prices stepped down by US$ 30/ton and assessed at US$ 715/ton in the last week, a reduction of 4.03 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In Japan, average prices decreased by US$ 30/ton to US$ 720/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a drop of 4 per cent.
In India, average prices reduced by US$ 30/ton and quoted at US$ 725/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 3.97 per cent.
