Uster Technologies announces new CEO & BoD members

Switzerland based Uster Technologies has announced takeover of Thomas Nasiou as the CEO of the company and Dr. Geoffrey Scott and Philip Mosimann as co-chairmen of the Board of Directors.

Thomas Nasiou will assume the role of CEO for the new financial year starting on 1 April 2016, while Koichi Ito will join the company's Board of Directors succeeding Susumu Toyoda, Uster said in a press release.

Koichi Ito is the new head of the Textile Machinery Division of Toyota Industries Corporation, succeeding Toyoda who has been promoted to a new position in Toyota Motor Corporation. Susumu Toyoda will leave the Uster Board as of 1 April.

“The Board of Directors of Uster Technologies and Toyota Industries Corporation are pleased that, with the new management organisation, the long term continuity and success of Uster Technologies is secured. With Thomas Nasiou a strong internal successor as CEO is in charge, and with the support of Dr. Geoffrey Scott as a co-chairman, knowledgeable and dedicated leadership continues in the best interest for the company and its customers,” said Philip Mosimann, chairman of the Board of Directors of Uster Technologies.
